FBIs cozy connections to the Clintons

The deputy FBI director one Andrew McCabe who investigated Mrs Clintons email server activities and found her not guilty of any wrong doing it turns out benefitted from a substantial donation made by Virginia Govenor Terry McAuliffe, a Democrat with ties to the Clintons, who gave nearly $500,000 to the state senate election campaign of McCabes, wife. She lost the election.

FBIs Deputy Director implicated in $500,000 Clinton election donation influencing his decisions

Meanwhile the current director of the same FBI James Comey was a director of HSBC bank during a period the same bank oversaw $81 million foreign payments into the Clinton foundation. HSBC was at the time implicated in laundering drug cartel money & was heavily involved in the LIBOR scandal. Sandy Berger was a Clinton aide who was caught removing and destroying  secret records from the US National Archives. The documents were related to Clinton administration activities prior to the 9/11 attack. Comeys involvement in the case saw him as deputy attorney general hamstring the investigation by actively excluding Clinton administration officials who allegedly colluded with Berger during his illegal activities.

Ex Lib Dem peer suspended after House of Lords anti Jewish meeting

 Laura Hughes, political correspondent
27 OCTOBER 2016 • 4:46PM

A peer and former Lib Dem MP has been suspended from the party after hosting an event where the audience applauded the suggestion that Jewish people were responsible for the Holocaust.

Baroness Tonge, who sits as an independent in the Lords, hosted a meeting in Parliament where a speaker compared Israel to terror group the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.
Her suspension comes after a spokesman for the Israeli embassy described the event as "a shameful event" that "gave voice to racist tropes against Jews and Israelis alike".
House of Lords

The Palestinian Return Centre, which live streamed the event on its Facebook page, said the event inside Parliament was part of its Balfour apology campaign - which calls for the UK Government to "officially apologise for its past colonial crimes in Palestine".
One member of the audience was applauded after they claimed that “if anybody is antisemitic, it’s the Israelis themselves.”

She was photographed campaigning earlier this week with Sarah Olney, the Lib Dem's candidate in the Richmond Park by-election.

A Lib Dem spokesperson said: "The party has suspended the membership of Jenny Tonge. We take her comments very seriously and have acted accordingly.”
Cabinet minister David Lidington told MPs he was "genuinely horrified" by reports of the remarks.

Speaking in the Commons Mr Lidington said: "I read the newspaper reports of the event in question and I confess I was genuinely horrified by the speech that was reported there.

"I don't want to treat every newspaper article as gospel but I think we should all be very concerned about what happened there. "And I hope that since this appears to be an event organised by a leading member of the Liberal Democrat party, that the leader of the party does launch an immediate and thorough investigation so we can get to the truth and any appropriate disciplinary action can be taken."

In the Lords Lady Tonge lists her party as "independent Liberal Democrat".
In 2010 she was sacked as the party's health spokeswoman in the Lords after calling for an inquiry into allegations that Israeli soldiers supporting the relief effort in Haiti had been involved with organ-trafficking.

Lady Tonge was a Lib Dem MP between 1997 and 2005, when she entered the Lords. She has regularly run into controversy for her critical stance towards Israel. In 2004, she was sacked as a Lib Dem spokeswoman on children's issues after suggesting she could consider becoming a suicide bomber.

Poland will not support Tusk for second term as European Council President, conservative leader says

Jaroslaw Kaczynski, the leader of Poland’s ruling Law and Justice party (PiS), told the Polska newspaper that the Polish government will not support Donald Tusk, a former Polish prime minister, for a second term as President of the European Council.

Kaczynski argued, “Tusk is a major problem. There are investigations going on in Poland in the parliament and in the prosecutor’s office that may lead to pressing some charges against him.

Should such a person be the head of the European Council? I have serious doubts.” He added that Tusk’s “further stay in Brussels is highly risky, mainly for the EU.”

Labour votes for 2nd EU Referendum

Labours brexit spokeswoman is one Emily Thornberry whoes claim to fame was being sacked by Ed Milliband as the then shadow attorney general because she tweeted a photo of a van drivers home flying the flag of St Gorge so her party chums could have a laugh at it. Ms Thornberry was living in a £3 million Kensington apartment at the time.

She now claims that the party still has no policy on brexit as Thornberry states they “are still considering it”, because “it is unclear what the British public wants”. 17 million voters state we want to quit the EU and Emily hasnt a clue what that means - noone is that naieve. Meanwhile, Labour MP Toby Perkins raised concerns about the lack of discussion within the party about its official position saying, “I would be alarmed if the party has come to a position of wanting access — not membership — [of the single market] without any consultation in the party.”

Elsewhere the ink was barely dry on Corbyns victory when the parties conference led by pro Owen Smith Blairites passed a motion to make it official party policy to seek a 2nd referendum on our membership of the EU. This was in contravention of Corbyns own view on the matter which was to accept the verdict of the British people.

Anyone who thinks the re-election of Jeremy Corbyn by his parties activists albeit with an increased majority has settled the parties troubles is in for a very rude awakening.

How Proportional Representation would have changed the face of our democracy

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/election-2015-32601281

The Conservatives would have won 75 fewer seats but would still have been the largest party in the Commons. Labour too would have taken fewer seats. The SNP's dramatic increase in seats of 50 would have been curtailed to 25.

But UKIP, the Lib Dems and the Greens would have fared much better. UKIP would have been a force to be reckoned with in the Commons with 83 seats.

Mr Farage has not yet declared which of the many alternative voting systems he would favour, but any more proportional system would be likely to give him and other smaller parties a boost.

The contrasting fortunes of the different parties in Westminster under first past the post are made clear by looking at the number of votes won for each winning candidate.

UKIP required more than 100 times as many votes for its lone elected MP than the Conservatives did for each of theirs.

French government 'suppressed gruesome torture' of Bataclan victims as official inquiry is told some were castrated and had their eyes gouged out by the ISIS killers
Victims of terrorist attacks were tortured by ISIS, inquiry hears. Policemen on the scene of nightclub vomited when they saw victims. But prosecutors cast doubt on claims saying no knives were found . 89 people died at the Bataclan in total during attack last November

The French government suppressed the media from reporting the gruesome torture of several of the Bataclan terrorist attack victims, it has been claimed. A government committee has heard from a leading investigator that policemen on the scene of the attacks last November vomited after witnessing victims with their eyes gouged out. They claimed that some had been castrated with their genitals put in their mouths and that women were stabbed in the genitals.

But prosecutors at the parliamentary inquiry into the Bataclan deaths in France have cast doubt over the claims after revealing that no sharp knives were found at the scene. The French government blocked the media from reporting the gruesome torture of several of the Bataclan terrorist attack victims, it has been claimed +2 The French government blocked the media from reporting the gruesome torture of several of the Bataclan terrorist attack victims, it has been claimed

The inquiry heard that the alleged torture was the reason that some bodies of those who died were not released to their family, reported HeatStreet.  The investigator told the inquiry: 'After the assault, we were with colleagues at the passage Saint-Pierre Amelot when I saw weeping from one of our colleagues who came outside to vomit. He told us what he had seen.' He then confirmed that his colleague had seen 'acts of torture' on the second floor of the Bataclan.

Terrorist attackers were planning on using filmed footage of the torture victims for ISIS propoganda, it was claimed. Some of the victims were beheaded by the terrorist attackers, according to the claims. The inquiry heard from the president of the committee, Georges Fenech,  that one father had been told while visiting his son's body at the morgue that the right side of his face was unrecognisable because terrorists had 'punctured his eye and sliced down the right side of his face.'

The attacks happened after three terrorists took hostage concert-goers who were watching the band Eagles of Death Metal perform in the venue. Initially after the terrorists opened fire, many members of the crowd mistook gunshots for pyrotechnics. French security forces re-trace footsteps of Bataclan massacre.

The recommendation for a body modelled on the U.S. National Counterterrorism Center reporting to the prime minister was one of 40 proposals made by a parliamentary committee after the five-month inquiry. Poor coordination between security services in France and at the European level let crucial information slip through about militants who killed 130 people in coordinated attacks in and near Paris on a stadium, cafes and the Bataclan, the inquiry found.

'We are not up to the task (in the fight) against those who threaten us today,' conservative lawmaker Georges Fenech, who headed the committee, told a news conference earlier this month. The inquiry concluded that though some of the gunmen who killed 90 people in the Bataclan attack could have been arrested, there was little possibility of identifying the concert hall in advance as a target.

Government sneaks out bombshell memo showing David Cameron gave his aides a £283k golden goodbye
The ex-PM defied civil service and legal advice in a move one union called 'the kind of cronyism that gives politics a whiff of corruption'  David Cameron overruled official advice to give his aides a massive goodbye gift David Cameron gave his aides a £283,000 golden goodbye in one of his last acts as Prime Minister, bombshell memos sneaked out during the Cabinet reshuffle reveal.

A letter quietly uploaded to the government's website yesterday reveals he overruled legal advice and one of Britain's most senior civil servants to give his chums the generous payout. Mr Cameron used a rare 'ministerial direction' to get his way - a move one union called "the kind of cronyism that gives politics a whiff of corruption".

The move concerns special advisers (Spads), taxpayer-funded political aides who automatically lose their jobs when their minister or shadow minister steps down. Letters show Mr Cameron wanted to increase a severance package for Spads who have been in place since before last May from 4.5 months' pay to 6 months' pay.

But Cabinet Office chief John Manzoni warned this went beyond their contracts, would cost £282,892 and could cost far more when applied to 30 similar staff across Whitehall. "Legal advice supports this position," he wrote. "My strong advice is that we continue to abide by the provisions in their contracts of employment." David Cameron's letter overruling legal advice and a top civil servant

The Prime Minister was warned his plan would raise the total severance bill for No10 alone from £747,045 to £1,029,938 and now sets a precedent for long-serving staff. But he overruled the Permanent Secretary and the legal advice and went ahead with it on Wednesday - just hours before handing his resignation to the Queen. His principal private secretary Simon Case said the Spads had lost their jobs "through no fault of their own".David Cameron waved goodbye and the bombshell memo appeared online the next day

He added: "The termination of their employment has been sudden and unexpected. "He [Mr Cameron] does not wish to exacerbate an already difficult and uncertain time for them by inferring that their long and loyal service is not fully recognised." A Public and Commercial Services union spokesman said: "We're appalled that Cameron would seek to reward his political staff in this way, as civil servants have been told they must face further cuts to their redundancy terms. "It's that kind of cronyism that gives politics a whiff of corruption and erodes public trust."

China’s Largest Online Retailer Says Brexit Will Boost Trade

China’s largest online retailer plans to sell British goods to its 170 million customers and says Brexit will boost trade and exports because of a falling pound.

“I know there are some people who are not happy with the result [of the referendum] but we are optimistic. I think there will be a positive outcome for business in China,” said Tony Qiu, the head of JD Worldwide, at a news conference in Paris.

His website has this week launched a “British Mall” channel dedicated to selling to the Chinese market. “British Mall will be the shop window in China for the best of British products,” he added.

“UK brands and retailers have a massive opportunity to tap into this market, and with British Mall, we aim to give them the platform and tools they need to reach millions of Chinese consumers.”

Mr. Qiu explained that British brands were particularly popular with Chinese shoppers. “As disposable income is rising in China there is an increasing demand for quality and imported products, and goods from the UK are the most popular,” he said.

Adding: “From a business perspective there will be an immediate impact because the purchase price will be lower as the pound falls in price.”

“We will pass this on to the consumers and so as UK products because cheaper, they will have a competitive advantage in comparison to other countries,” he said.
During the referendum campaign, David Cameron seized on Nigel Farage remarking “so what?” on the prospect of a slump in the pound caused by Brexit.

Whilst a falling pound might be bad for the wealthy, who have many assets and holiday abroad frequently, it can be good for working people.

The UKIP leader was relaxed about a falling pound because he predicted that it would boost exports and revive UK industries – an analysis the Chinese retail mogul appears to agree with.

Calexit: Brexit Excites Californians Wanting to Secede

Yes California Calexit Campaign

The stunning victory of the “Brexit” campaign last week, which heralds the departure of Britain from the European Union, has excited movements for national sovereignty across Europe — and a secessionist movement in California as well.

Louis Marinelli, who leads the “Yes California” movement, told Newsweek that Brexit and the Scottish independence movement both point the way forward for a state that only gets 94 cents on the dollar back from Washington for its federal taxes.

“This is the first Western secessionist movement that worked, and I think that is going to be very profound,” Marinelli told Newsweek. “Are you going to say to people in the freest country in the world (you) don’t have the right to self-determination?”

Others are worried about what Brexit might mean for the California economy. The Los Angeles Times, for example, notes that Britain is second only to China in terms of foreign visitors to the Golden State, and has close economic ties to California, including heavy investments in film and tech.

Marinelli, however, is delighted by the political example that Brexit has set. He joins other enthusiasts for state independence elsewhere, such as the “Texit” activists, who hope to restore Texas as an independent republic, as it was in the 19th century.

There seems to be little real prospect of either California or Texas seceding, as such a move would have to be approved by the U.S. Congress. However, the notion is not entirely unheard of. Earlier this year, California Gov. Jerry Brown quipped that the state would have to build a wall around itself if Donald Trump became president.

Marinelli says that an independent California would be subdivided into states of its own. A movement to split the state up, known as “Six Californias,” failed to qualify its referendum for the November 2016 ballot.

Hong Kong Kowloon firm to buy 500 coaches from Wrightbus

Hong Kong Kowloon firm to buy 500 coaches from Wrightbus
By Margaret Canning PUBLISHED 30/06/2016

Ballymena's Wrightbus is celebrating after securing a multi-million pound order for 500 buses. The company, which employs 2,000 people in Co Antrim, will be supplying the vehicles to the Kowloon Motor Bus Company in Hong Kong, Kowloon and the New Territories area. There are already 500 Wright buses on the regions' roads following earlier deals.

Company chairman and co-founder William Wright revealed news of the latest multimillion-pound contract win in an exclusive interview with the Belfast Telegraph. Mr Wright, who created the company with his father Robert in 1946, said: "Hong Kong can easily buy buses from China, but they come to us (when they want) quality." While he declined to reveal the total value of the deal, he admitted that it came to "quite a bit of money".

Mr Wright said he was happy with the order and also happy with the outcome of the EU referendum. The business boss, one of the few industry leaders in Northern Ireland to publicly back a Brexit, condemned the banks' and stock markets' "hysterical" reaction to the result. "When it comes down to it, the European Union has just been about a trade deal - although some of the countries have been trying to make it another America of federal states," he insisted. Mr Wright also claimed that EU laws on cigarette packaging had directly resulted in the closure of tobacco giant JTI Gallaher's factory in Ballymena. The plant is to shut completely next year, although lay-offs have already started.

Tyre maker Michelin is also to close its local plant in 2018, with the loss of 860 jobs. "What bugs me is that 1,000 people in Ballymena have lost their jobs in tobacco manufacturing at JTI because the EU has stated you can no longer buy 10-packs of cigarettes," the Wrightbus chairman said. "That's supposedly to stop young people smoking, but I've checked out prices. A pack of 10 would have cost £3.69 and 20 would cost £6.89. I don't think anything would stop a young person who wants to smoke from paying an extra £3."

Returning to the implications of a Brexit, he maintained he was confident that the UK would be able to negotiate strong trade deals with the remaining EU member states. "German car manufacturers send 20% of their output to the UK, and others, like Renault and Peugeot are in the same situation," Mr Wright said. "Those countries will want a decent trade deal as much as the UK (will want one). It's not sensible for them to want to punish the UK."

The leading businessman also told how worries over immigration had influenced his pro-Brexit stance. "I do think immigration should be held at a reasonable level," he said, adding that he was concerned that many immigrants arrived without essential skills. However, he revealed that his company employed a number of Romanians and said: "We don't discriminate - all we look for are skilled people."

Dismissing fears that local firms would suffer in the wake of the EU results, Mr Wright insisted: "We've learned ourselves to take these things and find a way around them." He also said he was looking forward to meeting London Mayor Sadiq Khan - the successor to Leave campaigner Boris Johnson, who also bought 1,000 buses from his firm.

"I think I will have a lot in common with him," he added. "Wrightbus started with the two of us in a tin shed, so I know all about austerity - and Sadiq's parents came over from Pakistan. His father was a bus driver. They had a tough time, but they made it." The Wrightbus chairman told how his company did limited business in Europe and had sold only eight buses - to a Dutch customer - there in recent years.

He said most European bus companies were State-owned "and don't want to take chances and try anything new", but added: "We have salespeople looking at Europe regularly." Rather than focusing on the continent, the company makes many of its sales in Great Britain and the Republic, also exporting vehicles to China, Hong Kong, Singapore and India. Wrights Group is Ballymena's biggest employer and with all the closures will soon be its last significant manufacturer.

In its latest results, the company almost more than doubled pre-tax profits to £11.6m on turnover of £297m.

The fall of EUmpires some post Brexit thoughts

The most enduring and immutable lesson of history is that eventually every empire built by man falls. This was true of the The Aztecs the Roman empire the Spanish and Portugese the French the USSR and the British empire and now the EU with all its pretentions to becoming one it is likewise falling apart also.e demise of the EU is as inevitabkle as it is irrevocable.

All the artificially created financial ponsi schemes propping it up are conspiring along with the myriad of other crises it is now seething under to hasten its fall. Spain after Sundays inconclusive elections is still not able to elect an effective government. The French government facing a huge popular revolt is ripe for collapse also. The Italians are bouyed by a UK brexit also ready to quit at the drop of a hat. Britains brexit vote has simply put the spotlight on all these ptressures and as time progresses this will inevitably increase.

The fall in our currency suddenly makes our manufactured and farming goods more attractive on a world market even to the EU. The Germans industrialists are already pressurising Merkel not to do anything in a fit of pique that would jeapordise their car sales etc as we could quickly get a taste for Korean Japeneses and if Mr Trump wins US made cars as alternatives.

The unfolding situation in the Labour party where a Blarite buracracy which he imposed on the party obliterated any dissent from central party policy on the EU and everything else in a weird pretence it didnt exsist is now mirroring the antidemocratic EU system on which it was based. Two pro EU factions are fighting and tearing each other apart for ultimate control of a party which has totally lost touch with its core voters. Their utter condescending contempt for their former core support base is so breathtaking it defies description all due to the Blairist purges of the very people who made brexit a reality. The only ones who stuck with those people and should be rewarded for it with high office are Kate Hoey and Gisela Stuart ironically herself a German.

The venality and cheap opportunism displayed by the Lib Dems is also breath taking. They now claim voting for them they will call another referendum to rejoin the EU. This the party of tuition fees plus a party with just 7% of the vote at the last election. That means they were rejected by 93% of voters.

Also the total arrogance of the Boris Johnston Vote Leavers. The people voted for brexit not Boris Johnston or Michael Gove. The people who swung it wouldnt vote for either even under torcher. They therefore have no right whatever to dictate who will negotiate brexit. The voting figures for who the people supporting brexit and who they actually support at elections dictate that has to be now fully and fairly reflected in who does the negotiating.

TODAY IS OUR INDEPENDENCE DAY

The fight was a truly epic and bruising one and the peoples voice has prevailed. We now stand on the brink of a whole new future as a proud independent nation.

As even Mr Cameron admitted shortly before caliing this vote we live in a great country and the British people will do magnificently in or out of the EU.

Whatever this future brings let us all unite to make that reality. To ALL the people who voted thanks indeed to all who voted remain we now have 94% of the rest of the planet to go out there and as a single country with out own interests fully at heart to make those trading deals as we have done for thousands of years that means we all benefit and prosper.

Noone who voted for brexit did so with anthing less in mind nor we believe did anyone who voted remain. Its our duty now together to make it so on this the UKs INDEPENDENCE DAY.
Heartfelt and emotional Thanks and eternal gratitude to one and all.

This day should now become an annual national celebration as the UKs independence day

US shootings since Florida massacre - 158 killed & 374 wounded

If I was to say that following on from the Florida massacre at the Pulse nightclub another club had been attacked and 158 killed with 374 wounded the media frenzy would be poring over the details for weeks.

While the incidend I describe is fictional sadly the figures for the dead and wounded are hard cold fact. In the week following Omar Mateens massacre of 55 people in the Pulse nightclub up to the Sunday 19th of June there have according to the Gun Violence Archive, a charity tracking America’s gun violence occoured, shootings of 158 killed and 374 wounded by gun crimes.

Thankfully such a dire situation is not one we experience in this country where gun killings

because such weapon holding is the exception are a comparitive rarity. In the light of recent tragic events we will have to redouble our efforts to make it even harder for those who resort to vilolence to get hold of these weapons in the first place.

Economist who once advised European Commission switches allegiance from Remain to Leave

A LEADING economist who was a senior advisor to the European Commission, has switched from the Remain camp to Leave over his fears of the economic consequences of staying in the EU.
Leading remain economist changes sides to support brexit

Professor Brian Sturgess, the Managing Editor of World Economics has also expressed his “disgust” over the Project Fear campaign waged by Downing Street and the Remain campaign to persuade voters not to back Leave. In a damning analysis, Professor Sturgess has warned that his monthly analysis of currencies has highlighted that the eurozone is on the point of collapse.

the strains within the single currency area as “crippling” and points out that while the euro is undervalued in Germany by eight per cent it is overvalued in France by an enormous 13 per cent. This means Germany has a massive cash surplus while France cannot pay its debts.

He said: “There is no doubt that the eurozone will break up and it will be better for Britain if it is not part of the EU when that happens because we will end up having to pay to support other members when it happens.”

Aboriginies ethnically cleansed to facilitate Chinese mining firm in TTIP like deal

Australia Services Union poster
In Australia, after ChAFTA  (China-Australia Free Trade Agreement a TTIP style deal) government fiscal policy is now being dictated by the necessity to serve these ruinous trade agreements. After ChAFTA, the Abbott Liberal Government there forced the West Australian administration to evict thousands of Aboriginal families from their ancestral home lands, which had been granted to them by treaty. They forcibly took them away in trucks and bulldozed their houses.

This was done so that their land could be used for mining exploration by Chinese interests - ChAFTA deal is mainly concerned with bauxite, iron ore and coal exports to China, a continual supply of which is necessary to support their voracious industrial expansion. Of course, there was vehement protest against this but it was barely reported around the world.

A Chinese company called Landbridge (a shopfront of the Chinese Foreign Ministry) also leased the port of Darwin for 99 years under ChAFTA, so they can now fully control shipping in and out of it for the next century.

Forced evictions to facilitate Chinese mining companies

There was widespread public protests, but any attempt by the Australian Government to block the move could've been construed as "restraint of trade" as this deal like the secret TTIP one for the EU - USA includes an equally contraversial Investor State Dispute Settlement mechanism that leads to imposition of huge fines for interfering with Landbridges ability to make a profit. These are the sorts of corollaries you can expect from these toxic trade deals.

The Australian Liberals have just signed a rival TPP; (Trans Pacific Partnership) with the US Obama administration  and other Pacific rim nations. Because of these deals Australia is now largely owned and operated by big business, especially the giant mining corporations which dominate the economy. It was their proposed introduction of a mining tax which brought down the Rudd Labour Government. Don't allow the UK to go down a similar path.

1.8 million Turkish migrants a DROP IN THE OCEAN reveal diplomats

1.8 million Turkish migrants a DROP IN THE OCEAN reveal diplomats

The Sunday Times has a great scoop: leaked cables reveal UK diplomats have discussed visa liberalisation for Turks coming to Britain, despite David Cameron’s pledge that “we won’t be offering visa-free access to Turks”. And there’s more…
Guido has been passed the cache of diplomatic cables. The telegram below is marked “Official – sensitive” and was sent by British diplomats in Kosovo to the Foreign Office. It reveals the European Commission plotted to “slipstream” visa liberalisation for Kosovo “behind Turkey”, because “1.8 million Kosovars” are “a drop in that larger ocean” by comparison. A stunning admission of the huge scale of potential new immigration – and collusion to play down the impact…

The cable also admits the obvious, that “some will… abuse the system”. Privately British diplomats are talking about 1.8 million Kosovars as a “drop in the ocean” compared to potential Turkish immigration. Yet they are planning visa-free access for Turks – and Dave wants you to believe this isn’t an issue in the referendum…

The EU Asset Stripping of the UK

In the six years prior to the UK joining the EU back in 1973 this country ran a trading surplus with Europe. In the 40 years since we joined we have ran a trading deficit with them. If the remain camps case held any water we should by  now have massively increased that prior trade surplus. The exact complete opposite has been the case this last 40 years they run a surplus trading with us instead and here is one of the main reasons why.

When we hear how the EU is good for British industry... we quote the farmers and the fishing industry as examples. But if you want to see how the EU has de-assembled our industries spare 5 minutes to read the following... The EU have conspired to come and asset strip and weaken the UK.. Heres a sample of how this is still happening. READ ON:

British Army's new Ajax fighting vehicles to be built in SPAIN using SWEDISH steel at the request of the EU to support jobs in Spain with EU grant, rather than Wales.

Cadbury moved factory to Poland 2011 with EU grant.

Crown Closures, Bournemouth (Was METAL BOX), gone to Poland with EU grant, once employed 1,200.

Dyson gone to Malaysia, with an EU loan.

Ford Transit moved to Turkey 2013 with EU grant.

Gallaghers Tobacco Ballymena  JTI Gallaher a challenging regulatory and operating environment and that it had "fought very hard" against plain packaging and smaller pack ban proposals in the UK. Production moved to Germany

Gillette gone to eastern Europe with EU grant.

Hinkley Point C nuclear power station to be built by French company EDF, part owned by the French government, using cheap Chinese steel that has catastrophically failed in other nuclear installations. Now EDF say the costs will be double or more and it will be very late even if it does come online.

Hoover Merthyr factory moved out of UK to Czech Republic and the Far East by Italian company Candy with EU backing.

Hornby models gone. In fact all toys and models now gone from UK along with the patents all with with EU grants.

ICI integration into Holland’s AkzoNobel with EU bank loan and within days of the merger, several factories in the UK, were closed, eliminating 3,500 jobs
Boots sold to Italians Stefano Pessina who have based their HQ in Switzerland to avoid tax to the tune of £80 million a year, using an EU loan for the purchase.

Indesit at Bodelwyddan Wales gone with EU grant.

Jaguar Land Rover new plant in Slovakia with EU grant, owned by Tata, the same company who have trashed our steel works and emptied the workers pension funds.

JDS Uniphase run by two Dutch men, bought up companies in the UK with £20 million in EU 'regeneration' grants, created a pollution nightmare and just closed it all down leaving 1,200 out of work and an environmental clean-up paid for by the UK tax-payer. They also raided the pension fund and drained it dry.

London buses are mostly run by Spanish and German companies.

M&S manufacturing gone to far east with EU loan

Mini cars are built by BMW mostly in Holland and Austria that Cameron stood in front of as an example of British engineering . His campaign bus was made in Germany even though we have Plaxton, Optare, Bluebird, Dennis etc., in the UK. The bicycle for the Greens was made in the far east, not by Raleigh UK but then they are probably going to move to the Netherlands too as they have said recently

Michelin Ballymena tyre factory due to the "significant downturn" in demand for truck tyres in Europe since the financial crisis of 2007

Peugeot closed its Ryton plant (was Rootes Group) and moved production to Slovakia with EU grant.

Sekisui Alveo said production at its Merthyr Tydfil Industrial Park foam plant will relocate production to Roermond in the Netherlands, with EU funding.

Scottish Power is owned by a Spanish company.

Swindon  rail locomotives and rolling stock. Not any more, it's Bombardier in Derby and due to their losses in the aviation market, that could see the end of the British railways manufacturing altogether even though Bombardier had EU grants to keep Derby going which they diverted to their loss-making aviation side in Canada.

Texas Instruments Greenock gone to Germany with EU grant.

UK airports are owned by a Spanish company.

39% of British invention patents have been passed to foreign companies, many of them in the EU

Anyone who thinks the EU is good for British industry or any other business simply hasn't paid attention to what has been systematically asset-stripped from the UK. Name me one major technology company still running in the UK, I used to contract out to many, then the work just dried up as they were sold off to companies from France, Germany, Holland, Belgium, etc., and now we don't even teach electronic technology for technicians any more, due to EU regulations.

I haven't detailed our non-existent fishing industry the EU paid to destroy, nor the farmers being paid NOT to produce food they could sell for more than they get paid to do nothing, don't even go there.

I haven't mentioned what it costs us to be asset-stripped like this, nor have I mentioned immigration, nor the risk to our security if control of our armed forces is passed to Brussels or Germany.

Find something that's gone the other way, I've looked and I just can't. If you think the EU is a good idea,

1/ You haven't read the party manifesto of The European Peoples' Party.
2/ You haven't had to deal with EU petty bureaucracy tearing your business down.
3/ You havnt head how TTIP will allow US boardrooms to write EU laws

The Referendum Game Song

The Referendum Game was produced by Trevor Horn and ex 10 CC star Lol Creme helped write the music. Vocals are by Art Wellesley.  The four-minute track also lists great British inventions like the steam engine, the lightbulb, the telephone and the world wide web. In one amusing reference to the Remain camp's Project Fear the song highlights some of the ridiculous claims made by the Remain side and memorably warns: "They try to scare us, Tony Blair us". The single was released as bookmakers slashed the odds on a Brexit vote after a new surge in bets on the referendum outcome.

Vladimir Bukovsky ex Gulag prisoner compares EU to the old Soviet system (uncanny resemblance)

It is really puzzling to me that just having buried one monster the Soviet Union, another remarkably similar one, the European Union, is being built.
Exactly what is the European Union?

Perhaps by examining the Soviet version we can get the answer. The Soviet Union was governed by 15 unelected people who appointed each other, who met in secret, and who were not accountable to anyone. The European Union is governed by two dozen people who appoint each other, meet in secret and whom we cannot sack. One might say that the European Union has an elected parliament, well the Soviet Union had a parliament of a sort too, the Supreme Soviet that just rubber stamped the Polit Bureau decisions pretty much like the European Parliament does where speaking time in the chamber is limited within each group and often amounts to one minute per speaker.

In the EU there are hundreds of thousands of Eurocrats with their huge salaries, staffs, servants, bonuses, privledges, their lifelong immunity from prosecution, which is simply shuffled from one position to another, no matter what they do or fail to do. Is this not exactly like the Soviet regime? The Soviet Union was created by coersion and very often by a military occupation. The European Union is being created admittedly not by arrmed force, but by coersion and economic bullying.

In order to continue to exsist the Soviet Union spread itself further and further. The moment it stopped spreading it started collapsing and I suspect the same is true of the European Union. We were told the purpose of the Soviet Union was to create a new historic entity, the 'Soviet people' and that we must forget our nationalities our ethnic traditions and customs. The same seems to be true of the European Union. They dont want you to be British or French. They want you all to be a new historic entity, European. To supress all your national feelings and live as multinational community European.

After 73 years the same system in the Soviet Union resulted in more ethnic conflict than anywhere in the world. In the Soviet Union one of the grand purposes was the destruction of the nation state, and that's exactly what we observe in the European Union today. Brussels intends to userp nation states so that they cease to exsist.

Corruption was built into the Soviet system, from top down and so it is in the EU. The same endemic corruption activity that we saw in the old soviet union has flourished in the EU. Those who oppose or expose it are silenced or punished - nothing changes. In the Soviet Union we had the gulag, I think we have a gulag in the EU also, an intellectual gulag known as political correctness. When anyone tries to speak their mind on questions of race or gender or if their views differ from those approved, they will be ostracised. This is the beginning of the gulag, the beginning of your loss of freedom.

In the Soviet Union they told us they needed a federal state to avoid war, in the European Union they are telling you the same thing. In short the same ideaology underpins both systems. The EU is the old soviet model presented in western guise.

But again like the Soviet Union the European Union has within itself the seeds of its own demise. Unfortunately when it collapses and it will, it will leave immense destruction behind, and we will be left with huge economic and ethnic problems. The old Soviet system was incapable of reform, so is the European Union, but there is an alternative to being ruled by those two dozen self appointed officials in Brussels. It is called independence. You dont have to accept what they have planned for you. After all you have never been asked if you wanted to join. I have lived in your future and it didnt work!

Leave campaign outstrips Remain fundraising as wealthy donors dig deep

Financial Times 28/05/16

Leave campaign outstrips Remain funding as wealthy donors dig deep
The campaign to take Britain out of the EU raised more than twice as much money in recent weeks as its remain opponent. Leave organisations recieved more than £4 million between April 22 and May 12, according to data published by the electoral commission, compared to 1.6 million for remain campaigns.

Vote Leave the official Out campaign recieved £3.6 million of the total, while Britain Stronger in Europe, the official remain campaign, recieved more than £1 mn of the total. "Today its clear Vote Leave have deep pockets and they have secured three times as much funding as our campaign,." said Will Straw executive director of Britain Stronger in Europe.

Paul Stephenson, communications director of Vote Leave, said the donation data showed "that our campaign has momentum, and theirs hasn't. They are failing to raise money at a crucial point in the campaign and people are being turned off by their scare tactics,"

The largest individual donation during the period was £850,000 to Vote Leave from International Motor, a Birmingham based company which trades in the UK and Switzerland, and is chaired by Lord Edmiston, IM group which also gave £100,000 to Grassroots Out. The second largest donations were also to Vote Leave campaign - £600,000 each from Gladys Bramall and Jeremy Hosking. Mr Hoskings is a private equity veteran.Miss Bramall is a former director of Construct Equip a tool hire company.

David Sainsbury continued to provide substantial financial support to the remain campaign, giving £200,000 to scientists for the EU, £100,000 to the European movement and a further £67,000 to the official in campaign. Lord Sainsbury's total donations to the in campaign now totals £4.4 million.

In large donations since the beginning of February Leave has raised £12.2 mn and remain £9mn. Donations from the financial sector were predominantly to the in campaign. Jon (Studz) Studzinski the Morgan Stanley banker who now works for Blackstonegave £30,000 to the in campaign. Francz Petitgaz global head of investment banking at Morgan Stanley gave £12,000 to the remain side

What they told us would happen if we didn't join the Euro!

The decision to launch the single currency is the first step and marks the turning point for Europe, marks stability and growth and is crucial to high levels of growth and employment.”  LORD DAVID SIMON BP Chairman, 1997

“We cannot be members of the single market without being part of the single currency, the euro…In life, fighting for a minority view is sometimes dangerous and painful. Lies told to Norway before its referendum to leave the EU

The Norway model? Trade union leader insists country is freer and richer OUTSIDE the EUA LEADING Norwegian trade unionist has painted British voters a vision of a richer and freer country OUTSIDE the EU.
By GREG HEFFER, POLITICAL REPORTER

PUBLISHED: 17:43, Wed, May 25, 2016 | UPDATED: 17:56, Wed, May 25, 2016
Amid the EU referendum debate, Norway has regularly been used by both pro-EU and Brexit supporters as an example of what the UK may look like away from the Brussels-based bloc. Brexit supporters point to the high standard of living enjoyed by Scandinavian country’s population.

On the other hand, Europhiles claim Norway is still subject to huge amounts of Brussels legislation but has no influence over what is decided by EU bureaucrats - unlike the UK. So why do regular opinion polls show Norwegians vastly opposed to becoming the 29th EU member state?

In a comment piece for Express.co.uk, Mimmi Kvisvik - president of the Norwegian Union of Social Educators and Social Workers - has today explained why her countrymen are so against entering a political union through Brussels.escribing how Norway has insisted on staying outside the EU for more than a decade, Ms Kvisvik writes: “Norwegians voted ‘no’ to the EU in a heated referendum in 1994 – and we are not regretting it. Quite the opposite.”

She dismisses claims Norway is still dictated to by Brussels in exchange for accessing the EU’s so-called single market, arguing her country’s position in the European Economic Area means less than a tenth of Norway’s laws come from Brussels. And the country still has the “sovereign right to refuse” new EU rules.

Norwegians voted ‘no’ to the EU in a heated referendum in 1994 – and we are not regretting it. Quite the opposite Ms Kvisvik describes booming economic growth and foreign investment in Norway over the last ten years.

She argues Norway also has “a large number of tools at our disposal not available to EU members” in dealing with problems of uncontrolled immigration as a result of the EU’s freedom of movement rules, which the country subscribes too.

Pro-EU campaigners in Britain have often claimed the UK would be left ‘isolated’ away from the EU and would not enjoy the benefits of international co-operation. But Ms Kvisvik adds: “Norway's decision not to join the EU has not changed Norway’s internationalist perspective. “We are a part of Europe, and the world.”

Hollande's French Nightmare literally!

Anger is rising in France due to Msr Holland's plans to cut wages increase working hours and reduce overtime pay. A new popular movement is spreading across France in opposition to the austerity measures calling itself Rise Up At Night.

The movement says the government is destroying the hopes and aspirations of the young. A combination of factors on top of the working hours measure has served to fuel the anger on the streets like a chronic lack of affordable housing for young people.

For over a fortnight the movement has orchestrated protests in central Paris against the imposition of the measures. There are daily stand offs and skimishing between police and protesters who use pepper spays against the rioters who throw anything they can get their hands on in response.

The wave of angry protests were initially against the proposed draconian labour reforms but following government concessions like a €400million package to placate angry young protesters

President Holland's government is emerging badly from the backlash its policies have provoked.Holland's claimed the reforms are his governments response to try to tackle record unemployment in France especially among youth who are particularly hard hit.

However the imposition of a proposed 35 hour working week waspercieved as Frances socialist administration going much too far. Recent opinion polls in the country indicate that as high a figure as 76% of people there want to see Hollande quit by 2017.

RYANAIR SAYS GET THE HELL OUT OF BRUSSELS

"So I urge you as quickly as you possibly can get the hell out of Brussels. Go back to your countries and try to stay away from here as much as is humanly possible because Brussels as those of you who know the Star Wars trilogy this is the evil empire. Deberliment is the death star where any hint of innovation is left at the door as you walk in to meet with bureaucrats and politicians who you can always tell when they are telling lies because usually their lips will be moving."

EU NO when you've been TTIPed

Under TTIP for the first time ever a corporations ability to make a profit will be underwritten by the tax paying public of the country in which they are operating. All the firms have to do is to have their expensively employed legal teams identify some obscure (or not so obscure) EU regulations (and God knows the EU is completely awash with those) as an excuse to sue.

It used to be the case a corporation employed some of the 30,000 full time lobbyists in Brussels to badger politicians into skewing laws in their favour. TTIP cuts out the middlemen and allows the corporations an equal footing as they now directly make the laws themselves not just try influencing them

The fact that once the lawyers have identified a suitable loophole they will then be able to take such cases before the special trade dispute court which will have a judge appointed by those corporations plus one appointed by the unelected EU commission and an alleged independent, will ensure their chances of winning the argument are highly more enhanced and indeed speeded up than through a normal court.

TTIP operates in Canada and Uruguay. Some examples below:

Philip Morris sued Uruguay for $2bn due to loss of profits from cancer warnings on cigarette packets.

Lone Pine Drilling sued Canada $110 million for refusing permission for fracking.

Bilcon is suing Canada for $300 million because it was stopped from quarrying in a world heritage conservation area.

Trans Canada is sueing US tax payers for over US$15 billion -because its Keystone XL oil pipeline was rejected.

Vattenfall is suing Hamburg Germany €1.4 bn as clean air regulations hurt its profits.

Cameron was in the Guardian stating it will just take one more push to get this TTIP deal over the line.

The only way to stop this happening is to take back accountability and control of holding those we actually elect to full account by voting to leave this new burgeoning superstate of the United States of EU.

Physicist claims Hinkley Point deal means UK taxpayer could get £53bn bill to supply cheap nuclear energy to France

Electricity from planned nuclear plant 'could all end up being exported to countries with fewer renewables, like France, at a price massively subsidised by Britain’s hard-working bill payers'

It is a claim that, if true, would mean Britain is about to make one of the biggest economical mistakes in its history, a blunder that would damage our country's finances for decades and almost inevitably cause the Government to fall.

For, according to Keith Barnham, an emeritus professor of physics, the total subsidy paid to the planned Hinkley Point nuclear power station by the British taxpayer could reach a staggering £53 billion over its lifetime – and the main beneficiaries will be French.

He argues that such is the likely growth of renewables that the UK will not actually need the Hinkley’s electricity, so it will be sold abroad. And, he says, the most likely customers are in France, home of energy giant EDF, which is expected to build the plant Questions about the viability of the £18bn power plant have been raised following problems with reactors of a similar design.

Senior company engineers and unions at EDF are believed to be concerned that building Hinkley Point could ruin the company. EDF has put off a final decision on the project by several months.

Because of the expense of building a nuclear plant, the Government has had to guarantee a high price for its electricity. If that is significantly above the market price, the UK taxpayer will pay billions.

This would defend on market conditions for years to come and how much the demand for electricity rises as vehicles and the economy generally stop using fossil fuels. But, in an article for The Independent, Professor Barnham, of Imperial College London, argues that the expansion of renewables will mean that by 2029 there will be “no demand for continuous and expensive nuclear power in the UK”. “It could all end up being exported to countries with fewer renewables, like France, at a price massively subsidised by Britain’s ‘hard-working bill payers,’” he writes “If Hinkley starts in 2025 with the performance Department for Energy and Climate Change expects, the nuclear subsidy will be around £820m each year on the ‘no-subsidy’ renewable scenario.

“The subsidy will double should the second Hinkley reactor come on stream around 2030, leading to a total bill, over the 35 years of the guarantee, of £53bn, which could all end up supporting low electricity prices abroad. He suggests the Government’s decision to cut subsidies for onshore wind and solar power was designed to keep the level of subsidy down by reducing the growth in electricity supplies. This would increase the wholesale price so that it is closer to the price guaranteed for Hinkley’s electricity.

The Department for Energy and Climate Change [DECC] is predicting a much lower subsidy of between £4.4bn and £19.9bn, Professor Barnham says, “because they hope the natural gas price will rise and the renewable expansion can be halted”. “The nuclear price guarantee could be a vote loser at the 2020 general election, when it will be clearer how soon the UK will have an all-renewable electricity supply,” he adds.

The figures that Professor Barnham uses to back up his assertions are sufficiently complicated that an energy market expert at a leading think tank declined to comment, saying it would take “several days of consultancy time” for them to meaningfully enter the debate Others were sceptical, but said it was not unlikely that some of Hinkley’s power would be sold overseas with the growth of a network of electricity ‘interconnectors’ that can transfer electricity efficiently over long distances.

If Hinkley fails, fossil fuels will be burned and we will all suffer

Phil Taylor, Siemens professor of energy systems at Newcastle University, said Professor Barnham had made “a very bold set of statements”. “I think there’s a huge amount of uncertainty about what our energy markets and requirements will look like by the time this nuclear power station will be built and operational,” he said “It’s possible that some of that is true, but it’s very uncertain, it’s a very bold thing to claim.”

He said he thought Hinkley’s baseload power would be “very useful” and needed because of the rise in demand for electricity However Professor Taylor added: “Whether we have done the right thing by guaranteeing such a good price for that nuclear power for such a long time is another matter “We may have locked ourselves into some expensive electricity for the future, but I would be surprised if we didn’t need it. A DECC spokeswoman said a new nuclear plant was necessary.

“Keeping the lights on is non-negotiable and this Government is taking responsible decisions on how we are going to power our country now and for the next generation,” she said “Nuclear is part of this plan and can provide continuous power, irrespective of whether the wind is blowing and the sun is shining. “It will also create thousands of jobs for working families and businesses across the UK.  Hinkley alone will power nearly six million homes, create more than 25,000 jobs and give us 60 years of reliable electricity for the cost of 35.”

The National Grid’s most ambitious ‘green future’ scenario for the expansion of renewable energy says that nuclear power would still be needed“The commissioning of the first new nuclear power station, during the first part of the 2020s, is a cornerstone of the Gone Green generation mix as the country continues on its pathway to achieve the 2050 environmental targets,” it says However the National Grid itself declined to comment of Professor Barnham’s claims.

James Court, head of policy at the Renewable Energy Association, said Hinkley Point was in danger of becoming a “white elephant” Mr Court said diesel and nuclear plants were being subsidised and the Government would likely help fund new gas plants this year “We’ve got the crazy situation that diesel, gas and nuclear are being subsidised, but the cheapest renewables, onshore wind and solar, are not,” he said.

Motorcyclist dies in terrifying shoot-out between 'British people smugglers' on motorway

Shootout with UK people smugglers motorcyclist killed in Belgium
A MOTORCYCLIST has died and two suspected people smugglers in a drug-laden car registered in Britain were seriously wounded in a shoot-out on a packed Belgian motorway.

By Alix Culbertson
11:41, Thu, May 5, 2016 | UPDATED: 13:14, Thu, May 5, 2016

The drama unfolded on the A16 near the French port of Dunkirk, after a high-speed chase which started across the border in Belgium when a lorry driver stopped on the hard shoulder and called police to report a group of migrants hiding in his lorry.

Police arrived quickly and four men, thought to be people smugglers of British-Iraqi nationality, jumped out of the back of the truck, threatened the driver with a knife and got into a maroon Audi A4 with a British number plate.

The Audi, which had four men in it, reached speeds of 125mph as police chased it, causing three accidents, including one in which a motorcyclist from the Netherlands drove into the back of a lorry, killing the driver.

A car was also seen on its roof in the middle of the motorway. The chase ended over the border in France when the Audi crashed into a car which had been in a minor accident 20 minutes before.

A person in the car hit by the Audi suffered a broken femur while the others were in shock. One of the men in the Audi was shot by police in the shoulder while another was shot in the abdomen. A local traffic police source said: "The incident started soon after 5.30am.

"Belgian police were pursuing suspected people smugglers on the A16. "Shots were fired, and the car being chased caused a huge pile-up of traffic. "There were numerous injuries, and one fatality." The car being chased became so badly damaged as it sped away from police it was travelling on just its wheel rims. Witnesses said they heard gunfire before the car being chased was forced to halt.

At least 15 bullets were fired during the incident and the British car was hit a number of times by officers as it travelled at high speed, witnesses added. Two men inside were seriously wounded and immediately airlifted to hospital in nearby Lille. Another witness said: "Both were hit by police bullets and immobilised, while two other men were arrested."

The suspected people smugglers were driving an Audi with a British registration plate, but were thought to be from Iraq. car chase. One has "life threatening" injuries while another is "also very badly hurt" and the other two in the car are also in hospital, local government sources said. The incident led to the closure of the entire motorway going southbound from Belgium to France.

The northern French area is notorious for gangs of people smugglers who arrange trips across the Channel to the UK for migrants sleeping rough in the area or in camps in Dunkirk. They charge up to £2,000 a head, often smuggling their "clients" in the back of lorries and vans, providing a lucrative trade for criminals from all over Europe, including many from the UK.

The Dunkirk prosecutor has opened an investigation into the alleged people smugglers endangering the lives of others, unauthorised residence and causing unintentional injuries.

Secret expose TTIP documents highlight NHS privatisation its next goal

The secret TTIP documents, obtained by Greenpeace Netherlands, include a US proposal to have a committee with representatives from Washington and Brussels to meet each year “to review state-owned enterprises and monopolies” which would include the NHS The committee would meet annually and would not be guaranteed a representative from Britain.

But it would still be able to review state-run services in this country. Its duties would include checking that state services do not “distort” the market.  One section of the papers makes it clear that the EU and America would seek eventually to end all forms of state intervention in competition with the private sector. The report states that if Britain remains in EU the NHS will be sold off and privatised

It says: “The parties acknowledge that anti-competitive business practices and state interventions have the potential to distort the proper functioning of markets and undermine the benefits of trade liberalisation. If we don’t say goodbye to the EU we will have to say goodbye to the NHS Louise Bours UKIP health spokesperson

Opponents of TTIP have long argued that including healthcare in the treaty will force the privatisation of the NHS or at least make the process impossible to reverse. EU officials claim they will have wording that allows for the NHS to be protected but have so far failed to provide a full exemption. Meanwhile, Prime Minister David Cameron has refused to ask for an exemption while trying to persuade British voters to back the Remain campaign in the EU Referendum.

Camerons reason was exposed in a Guardian report where he stated it required just one more push to get TTIP over the line.
Cameron calls for political courage to seal TTIP deal

Pro-Brexit campaigners have long warned that if Britain remains in the EU it will see its health service privatised and the NHS broken up. Following the latest revelations, Nigel Farage’s Ukip warned the documents prove that the NHS is under threat with a Remain vote. Another prime target which also falls into the category for privatisation would include the BBC. Its a supreme irony that the main cheer leader for the remain camp the BBC will prove to be one of its first privatisation casualties should their "project fear" campaign carry the day.

The party’s health spokeswoman Louise Bours said: “If we don’t say goodbye to the EU we will have to say goodbye to the NHS. “This committee has been requested by American investors, who will meet with EU officials once a year to decide the fate of our NHS."

Commission delays ecodesign strategy for fear of offending UK businesses

The EU has been caught out deliberately delaying introduction of a new slew of regulations to affect UK industries so as not upset us prior to our 23rd of June referendum.

The six new edicts will affect waste, fertilisers, water reuse, plastics and chemicals, with what is termed “targeted action” in food, construction, industrial and mining waste, and public procurement.

The latest burden of deeliberately delayed legislation involves laws to regulate products eco design characteristics. Extra costs will be imposed on firms regarding the end of life use of products not complying with the new regulations.
The Circular Economy package was intended to increase recycling levels and tighten rules on incineration and landfill.

It consists of six bills covering waste, packaging, landfill, end of life vehicles, batteries, accumulators, and waste electronic equipment.

Merkle promised NO BAILOUTS in 2010 - SHE LIED

In the run up to our own referendum on brexiting from the EU it is worth recalling what Mrs Merkle told Germans in the run up to the Greek crises back in 2010:

"We have a Treaty under which there is no possibility of paying to bailout states." ANGELA MERKEL, German Chancellor 1 March 2010

Article 125 of the EU Treaty is unequivocal: '

The Union shall not be liable for, or assume the commitments of, central governments, regional, local or other public authorities, other bodies governed by public law, or public undertakings of any Member State.'

This clause was no mere technicality. It was on the basis of its promise that the Germans agreed to join the euro in the first place in 2002.

The French were not so reticent after bailouts became the norm. Two members of the French government let the cat out of the bag in a most boastful manner:

'[Bailouts are] expressly forbidden in the treaties by the famous no-bailout clause. De facto, we have changed the treaty.' - PIERRE LELLOUCHE French minister for Europe 2009-I0, 27 May 20I0.
'We violated all the rules because we wanted to close ranks and really rescue the euro zone. The Treaty of Lisbon was very straightforward. No bailouts.'? CHRISTINE LEGARDE French finance minister November 2010

Dutch courage could derail Obama

Mr Cameron by holding his referendum is admitting the EU is irrevocably damaging this country. His deal is so corrosive he accepted it is causing irrevocable harm to our country otherwise why bother calling June 23rd. He jetsetted across EU watering down his demands to appease his partners. Its a wonder the emperor had any clothes left and the wretched pickings are what we must vote on.

Now in the typical EU way that already dire situation has just got worse though we may not see this just yet. The Dutch people though are not so slow off the mark. TTIP the Transatlantic Trade & Investment Partnership & TISA his Trade in Services Agreement (two of President Obamas "legacy" projects) have got them sufficently worried to call a specific referendum to get them stopped in their country.

TISA amongst other things Is to allow big US corporations to privatise "Healthcare services", as in the most profitable bits of our National Health Service with banking, and transport its other targets. See Wikileaks expose on this below.

Wikileas exposes Obamas Secret TISA deal

TTIP includes a powerful 3 x judge court which will be unchallengable by exsisting courts. One judge appointed by the corporations one by the commission and one independent allegdly. Its decisions are final and means EU members can be fined massively if they hurt profits. Philip Morris Tobacco sued Uruguay $2 billion over health warnings on cigarette packets.

This TTIP deal gives US corps a right to co-draft EU law alongside the unelected EU commission. They will use that anti democratic ability to write laws so they can legally privatise lucrative parts of our NHS. They will be able to legally reduce both wages and rights of their slaves sorry I meant workers. (After all wages hit profits soon destined for a Panama tax haven too)
